Welcome to CarolineJamesPictures.co.uk - the website of Bristol-based watercolour artist Caroline James.
Caroline studied fashion and textiles at Ravensbourne College of Art & Design
in Kent, and now lives in Long Ashton near Bristol, where she paints and runs watercolour classes. She also teaches watercolour and silk painting at the Bristol Folkhouse.
Caroline has had numerous exhibitions in her home and more recently at the Upper
Swell Gallery, near Stow, in the Cotswolds. She exhibits her work at "Fish with Feet" in Bristol.
Her current work is of the scilly Isles and Cornwall and a few local scenes.
Caroline is fascinated by light and colour.

Watercolour Classes
Caroline is currently running watercolour classes from Long Ashton Village hall on tuesdays and Wednesdays and the Folkhouse, Bristol, on Thursdays.
Painting Days
She has organised Plein air painting days during the summer in and around Bristol. She will accept commissions of houses and gardens.
Clifton Arts Club
Caroline is a member of the Clifton
Arts club, and their summer exhibition is at the Bristol School of Art, next
to the RWA Queens rd, Bristol from 17th - 28th July with which Caroline will be
involved.
